Thank you for looking at our Scottish cottage. We call it Garden Cottage. It is also the place where our family come to relax. We have redecorated it in 2011.
Garden Cottage is situated in farm setting at the end of a private road where you can enjoy getting away from the hustle and bustle of some holiday cottage locations. However the cottage not isolated. It is near the top of a hill surrounded by beautiful landscape with Lock Ken in the distance. It is a great place from which to enjoy the tranquility and beauty of the Galloway Hills. Kirkcudbright and beaches of the Solway coast are just a short drive away.
The cottage can accommodate 4. It is furnished with good quality comfortable furniture not usually found in holiday cottages. It has been awarded 3 Stars by the Scottish Tourist board. Although in the heart of farm land it is less than 1.5 mile to Castle Douglas, a designated Food town with many restrauants in and around.
